About the event

Cacao & Creative Flow

  • Date & Time: Sunday 6th October, 3 PM – 6 PM

  • Price: 50,000 TSH (includes a cup of cacao and one art activity)

  • Location: Backyard Ventures, Olasiti (Directions will be shared via email)

Step into an intimate, creative space where we’ll shake off the week’s energy, sip on heart-opening cacao, and let our imaginations take the lead. While this is not a typical cacao ceremony, it is still an opportunity to tap into the power of cacao to open our hearts and inspire mindful creation.

We’ll begin by settling into a warm, welcoming space, where everyone will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and after a brief introduction to the cacao—where it’s from, what to expect, and how it can enhance your experience—you’ll learn about the benefits of ceremonial dosages of cacao. If you’re new to this experience, ceremonial cacao is often consumed in a dosage of around 25-30 grams. It can elevate your mood, increase feelings of love and connection, and enhance creativity. As you sip, you may feel a gentle warmth and openness in your heart, allowing for deeper self-expression.

You will then be guided through a gentle astrology-based reflection, aligning our creative energy with the energy of the eclipse season. We’ll check in with ourselves before moving into the creative flow, where you’ll be invited to grab art supplies and settle into a cozy spot to create either with canvas painting or string art.

Soft music will fill the space as we each find our own rhythm. You can immerse yourself in your art or engage in conversation with others; this is your time to relax and express yourself.

We’ll close the session with a sharing circle, reflecting on the creative process, how we feel, and setting an intention for the week ahead.
