The Slow Nomad Experience in
Northern Tanzania

August 30th - September 28, 2025

A connective, adventurous & experiential journey

If you’ve landed on this page, there’s a good chance it’s for a reason.

Maybe you’re feeling the nudge to pause, to shift your pace, to explore in a way that feels worthwhile. Or maybe you’re meant to find yourself in Tanzania this September.

This is dry season in Northern Tanzania which makes it one of the best times for experiential living and slow travel. The days are sunny and crisp, the skies wide and cloudless, and the landscapes glow in tones of gold and rust. Wildlife is easier to spot, the air feels fresh, and the flow of life invites you to slow down.

What makes it even more special? Sharing it.

With fellow travelers and the places we visit. This trip is shaped with care for community, for nature, and for exploration. Not only does group travel make it more accessible (in a country that's quite expensive to tour alone), we intentionally selected locally run spots and projects that matter. Each choice holds meaning, leaving behind both memories and a little more good in the world.

We begin in Arusha, a highland town tucked between national parks and volcanic peaks. The mornings are cool and quiet, with streets humming with music, conversation, and everyday life.

You’ll settle into three weeks of shared living and co-working in a peaceful neighborhood, exploring local culture, building community, and taking weekend trips that deepen your connection to this place.

From there, the path winds east into places many tourists never reach. Ancient valleys, remote national parks, and untouched coastline. This isn’t the Tanzania you see on postcards, but the one shared by those who’ve taken time to really explore. We’ll sleep under the stars, visit coastal mangroves, and explore the wild beauty this country holds by road. The journey ends with one final weekend back in Arusha to reflect and close the experience together.
